I was wondering whether it would be a good idea
to add a container to each Top-Level node (like a question
in Seekers, or some posted code in Code) which would hold
links to other nodes?
Advantages
A reference
can be provided to a node without posting a full reply.
It allows fast 'jumping' to the better nodes without
having to skim through all the replies.
One immediately sees what the node really is
about. Subjects may be confusing...
Disadvantages
Takes extra space on the page, you'll have to use
that page-down button more often
....(probably a lot more)
Implementation
The link-container could look like the links
in an everything node.
Reputation/ quality system? I don't think
such a system could do without some sort of quality check.
I don't think it would be a good idea to use the
XP system for that. Maybe linking should be only allowed
to the higher levels (wouldn't know which ones). Maybe
the linking should be suspect to it's own reputation system,
even without XP bonus?? I really wouldn't know.
