This is a better node than your first post however please read the PerlMonks FAQ and How do I post a question effectively?. Also the node title 'Newbie' is not great, have a read at How do I compose an effective node title?.

You stated in your first post on this subject that you are new to Perl.
Perhaps it would be best if you had a look at the Tutorials section of this site to get you started.
You should be able to implement a solution for this test harness in Perl.
