and perhaps you don't care about the few people who are hurt or offended by your occasionally abrupt corrections.
Perhaps that people who will be hurt if they are corrected (I had a nephew who was hurt when he was corrected, but he grew over it by the age of three) should think twice before posting, and only post when they are sure. That would be a win-win situation - the OP of this thread gets what he wants (fewer incorrect answers), and the people who are hurt easily will be hurt less (because they post less postings that need correcting). The person correcting can spend his time answering questions directly instead of correcting someone elses answers. And the average quality of the answers to someones questions rises (less incorrect answers). Everybody wins.

These can substantially improve the way you are perceived.
