I need an expression that works a lot like the [id://####] thing of the Monks website. My regular expression should take [id=###]blahblah[/id] and replace it with <a href="/cgi-bin/coolcode.pl?id=###">blahblah</a>.

I am rather new to the concept of regex, and I have read the manpages in detail, but had little success in discovering how more "advanced" regex work. (Such as this one.) Please help me.
