Hi Brethren, Further to my question regarding split on fullstop.
If I use the code as suggested below feeding a text file in: 
$xline=$_;
    chomp($xline);
    @xline = split (/(?<=\.)/, $xline);     
    
    foreach(@xline){
    print "$_\n";
    }

[download]
My first line prints ok, but all following lines are indented by one space
This is my first line.
 This is my second line.
 This is my third line.

Again any help would be much appreciated
