I just noticed that when viewing my homenode, if I click on "view" link for my public scratchpad, I'm actually shown my private scratchpad.

Apologies if this is a known issue, but a quick search didn't reveal anything (maybe I was searching for the wrong terms?) and was nonplussed to see my private scratchad on display for all to see. (even though inpedendent confirmation showed that wasn't the case).

Anyone care to tell me if either A) it's a PEBKAC issue or B) a real problem?

For those interested (and at the suggestion of demerphq: the rendered markup is:

<td><a href="?node_id=523114">View</a>, <a href="?viewmode=public;displaytype=edit;node_id=523114">Edit</a>, <a href="?viewmode=private;node_id=523114">View Private</a>, <a href="?viewmode=private;displaytype=edit;node_id=523114">Edit Priva +te</a></td>

Clearly, my "viewmode" is defaulting to "private" regardless of my intentions.
