I apologize for not adequately expressing that, while my reply was to you, my comments were not. I was just venting. It would have probably been better served in the CB.
The specific thing I don't like about the scratchpad is the 4 links on the homenode. I said as much on the CB the day it was implemented.
I don't recall seeing any CB or Scriptorium discussion on the inbox changes. I wouldn't call Possible new inbox implementation much of a discussion. I did ask in the CB when it was implemented if there was anyway to remove the "And # more, # archived" message. I was told no, though I don't remember by whom.
I like the site and I know about thankless efforts so I will try not to bring it up again. Keeping in mind that my post was a general venting I won't address the rest of your post. I think I have done so elsewhere.
