FWIW although I think that should everyone do like him the Perl Monks Discussion section may become rather cluttered
If that was the trend it was going to be, then we could install a long thread like, uh, The One Which Shouldn't Be Named (because it's so huge and it poses a problem to the site if many people go look at it all at the same time), where every newbie to the site could introduce himself, if that Is what he wants to do.

So far, it's not a trend.
