Hey all!

Just recently I have added user account functionality to my website. I have done all the preliminary stuff. All the session manegment code is there. And the login stuff... I also just added a CAPTCHA image box (really not necessary, just for fun) using GD::SecurityImage.

However, since I require an email address I would like to made sure the address is vaild. You know the standard way. You register for an account and then 10 seconds later an email arrives in your mailbox with a link to click on that verifies you are the owner of the email account.

What I was wondering if there are any Perl modules that help or ease this process. I was thinking I could just add another field to the account table (say authId) and then set it equal to zero after the view the page.

Any thoughs or reccomendations. Thanks!
