Perl was first released in the yeat 1987, by
Larry wall.
Perl borrows features from
C,
shell scripting (sh), AWK,
sed, Lisp,
and, to a lesser extent, many other programming languages.
In a very short period Perl developed like anything and most of the critical projects are
being developed in perl. Also the Development of OO Perl added more addition features to perl.
But my doubt is, what will happen if there is any other language developed with more feature than Perl ?
During that period, what will happen to perl monks group ? Since, Our group contains more experienced people in perl.
I submit this following question to you all of them.
is it possible that any other languagge can overcome with more feature than perl ?
If so, what will happen to current perl groups? Because this situation happened to many programming
languages.
I am not only worried aboout Perl monks group, I am too worried about my Favourite language Perl.
I expect more points on this topics.
