I have some data which I am dumping from an application in a readable format for display in a browser or Microsoft Word application. I am experiencing a problem with some foreign characters which do not display properly. For instance, Latin small letter i with dot below (HEX => \1ECB, HTML => ị, DECIMAL =>7883). When I use Unicode::String to convert these charcaters to UTF8, I still don't get the correct characters. Am I missing anything here? Can anybody lead me in the right direction please. I also tried Unicode::Map to no avail! Thank you guys.
