If you linked Jellybean Objects via an Apache SOAP (mod_soap)implementation with hooks out to COPE (Perl-Corba) would you not have the ultimate cross platform SOAPDish capable of managed transactions across any combination of platforms?

Would this not put Perl in the position of being the Perfect Duct tape for glueing distributed transactions together?
