I have to modify a website in perl that uses a scrolling list of a bunch of different values. The scrolling list takes it's values from SQL. I need only one value in the list, however, it has to correspond with only part of another value.
For instance. HGLM_1298_1340_A_Bunch_of_other_stuff needs to correspond with LN_TH_13.40.98_0010
the 1340 being the piece to correspond.
How would I go about doing that?
