I'm not sure, (sorry, not a programmer...). I use Terminal on OSX.
What I'm imagining is a script that will prompt me for a folder, I enter the name of the folder, hit return and it goes through all the files (the file names have already been changed to .html using Automator, so don't need that done), finds all the php? text and changes it to .html.
