I'm sure you've done this, but did somebody check to see if these keys are present in the same mix of upper and lower case on both two platforms?

The reason I ask this is because hash keys are case sensitive, but the case of environment variables is not important to Windows, so Windows and Perl may have different ideas about "identical."
