I have read Discrepancies in the number of replies which is created by blazar. He has mentioned that he is gettting the wrong number of replies for the nodes which are in front page. I have checked my usersettings. whatever may be my user settings, still then at any situation for the node BerkeleyDB locks which I have specifed is not matching with the actual replies and the number of replies which shows beside a node.

So, from the following node Re: DBI and PP not behaving... I have understood what is wrong, ysth reply is useful for me to understand, what is happening actually.
