Hi, My Xml Document is
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252"?><MEMBERLIST><LIST><NICK>0 +</NICK><ROWID>100</ROWID><NICKID>12545</NICKID><RANK>9</RANK></LIST>< +LIST><NICK>007</NICK><ROWID>101</ROWID><NICKID>Trial ID</NICKID><RANK +>5</RANK></LIST><LIST><NICK>009</NICK><ROWID>102</ROWID><NICKID>12498 +</NICKID><RANK>18</RANK></LIST><LIST><NICK>0P</NICK><ROWID>103</ROWID +><NICKID>Trial ID</NICKID><RANK>4</RANK></LIST><LIST><NICK>Vinodh</NI +CK><ROWID>104</ROWID><NICKID>9999</NICKID><RANK>15</RANK></LIST></MEM +BERLIST>
In the above file I want to find out the greatest number of ROWID and NICKID and then I want to create a new node and append in it. Creating the new node is not problem. How retrieve the greatest value. Sorry in the previous query I told last value it will not be a correct one if I do in that way. Thanks Raj

Edit: added code tags (davorg)
