Hello
We get this error in our app using PERL 5.8.7
Deep recursion on subroutine "CGI::Carp::warn" at
/usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.7/diagnostics.pm line 506.,
From some googling it looks like a PERL bug. One place mentioned upgrading to 5.8.7.07
I have never seen an '.07' etc on a version before. Typing 'perl -v' doesnt give me that granularity. I dont know which release version we have.
We are on Solaris 10 using PERL 5.8.7.
We have installed quite a few PERL modules for this application ~30. I assume a new install of PERL 5.8.8 would require all our modules to be reinstalled.
Is there a patch to fix this bug?
I havent seen a way to upgrade PERL and not break our modules (and therefore reinstall). Is that possible?
Thanks
John
