Suppose i am calling a sub routine in a module by passing two arguments a scalar variable and an array. Is it possible???

Request::method($a, @b);

If possible then how can i receive the two arguments in that sub routine.

method($$)
{
my ($a1, @b1) = @_;
}

is this correct or not. Plz, suggest me some decent code to do a program what i want.
