There is no need to import CGI::cookie. All neccesary routines are imported by ':standard'.. The use is really simple:
my $cookie = cookie(-NAME => 'name', -VALUE => 'some text', -EXPIRES =
+> 'now');
print header(-COOKIE => $cookie, -TYPE => 'text/html');
