Put it in your Free Nodelet? I might put it in my Free Nodelet too, but it'd probably be for "remove READMORE" and "unreap". Then you can share it so others can paste it into theirs (I have plans for making such sharing even easier). Having a proof of concept also makes adding it as a site feature easier (less code/HTML for someone to write and more reason for someone to be motivated).
