I just uploaded XML::RSS::Headline::PerlMonks to CPAN. A sub-class of XML::RSS::Headline which is used by XML::RSS::Feed, it provides a custom interface to the PerlMonks rss feeds including the elements using the perlmonks namespace within the item element. It can be used with POE::Component::RSSAggregator, and I have whipped up a program that combines the aggregator and POE::Component::Jabber to open a room in jabber and post the perlmonks nodes as they available. If anyone wnats that info, let me know and I will add it here in either CUFP or Tutorials (whichever it belongs in) as well as my website.
