Here's a delimiter-neutral solution: 
sub changedate {
  join '', reverse split /\b/, shift;
}

This has the nice bonus of turning "2000/2/13" and "2000-2-13" and "2000 2 13" into their corresponding eurodates, keeping the originally used delimiters intact.
