Hello,

I installed ActiveState Perl 5.8.8 and now I am installing modules.
nmake.exe works quite nicely. Usually. When I tried
to install Tk-804.027, nmake choked with this message

NMAKE : fatal error U1095: expanded command line 'ar -ru < removed huge list of file names > ' too long

Others seem to be experiencing this with other big modules, and with other
languages. The best fix seems to be to upgrade to nmake version 7.10.
I am using version 1.5 now. Unfortunately, neither the article authors
nor Microsoft say where to find it, and searching the web does not
seem to help.

Any ideas?
