With that tongue twisting title (try saying all of that 10 times fast), I am curious why we can't get links to the parent nodes from the 'Nodes You Wrote' search link. In some cases, where you are the original poster of the node, it will bring to the parent node. However, in cases when you have written a reply, or a reply to a reply (etc etc), you have to go the extra step to click on the ID of the parent node to see the whole thing. I know this is more of a laziness question, but I find myself wanting more often to go to the parent node to re-read other's replies than to see my own. I am sure that this wouldn't be too complex a feature to implement. Is it the speed impact of having to make the extra 50ish (node links per page) database calls or something else? Thoughts?

Update:: themage pointed out a symantic error in my statement. I would like a link to the root node and not the parent node.
