hi monks i have a shell script that creates a file name stores it in a variable . now instead of just printing this ....i want to 'pass'(i dont know if it is the right word to use) the variable (containing the filename)to another script...for further manipulation. please give the exact syntax.....i tried piping....but getting entangled smwhere in the syntax....
