if its not spam i dont get the point at all
The poster wasn't dumping spam, but obviously trying to make a joke.
It is a place named "St Eval" (try perldoc -f eval).
I am not saying the joke is good -- it might even be worse than my average and might deserve reaping because of joke quality -- but it is fun to see I'm not the only one that has overeaten at the table and is a little slow this week.. :-)
Update: Tsk, tsk... the joke fails another detail. St Eval is bounded by St Merryn. First, the English spelled Cardinal (not St yet) merlyn wrong -- and second, we Perl people feel more liberated by merlyn than bound. :-)
(Sorry about that last, should stick to word jokes in my native tongue, if even that. I'll go hide under a rock now.)
