The motivation you're trying to sell us seems fishy. To me, your innocent question looks much more like an attempt to build an uncrackable code scrambler yourself. To protect your intellectual property or whatever. But you do know this is frowned upon, so you're disguising your true intentions as purely academic interest... (After all why would anyone distribute the .a lib together with a perl that has that same module linked in? Doesn't make any sense.) And now you want monks' help to point out all potential weaknesses, so you can harden your tool...
I'd say if you really can't help hiding your sources, figure out how to do it yourself.
