Sorry to clog again etc. but since I did see some interest
last time round I thought I'd announce it: my
Perl SSH client is now on CPAN as Net::SSH::Perl.
For those keeping score, here are the big nice things changed
since version 0.02 (last time I posted on the subject):
Now supports four different authentication methods:
RSA, Password, Rhosts, and Rhosts with RSA encryption.
(Caveats on the last two being that you have to be root and
run on a privileged port.)
Supports IDEA, DES, and 3DES encryption. Blowfish
isn't working yet because SSH does something odd with
its Blowfish.
Integrated GMP patches into Math::GMP, Chip
Turner's GMP module. He released a new version, and that
made that one a lot easier.
In accordance with that last, installation is now *much*
easier (hopefully): choose the ciphers you want to use, and
all the prereqs should be installed automatically through the
CPAN shell.
Fixed bugs.
So there you are. Please use it and if you find it useful either
msg me or email me (address in the README).
