I am not sure if this is different than the answer I already read but can I connect to Microsoft SQL server 7.0 via dbd and sybase or do I need to use ADO or ODBC to do this. I am a total newbie and inheriting a db project that needs to import a large number of records from SQL and dump them into another DB for a call center. Problem I have with what is being done is time, management would like this to take a few hours as it is now a complete import takes around 10 hours to complete.
