sorry for letting out the whole code, i was just hoping for someone to help me also enlighten and ease the code because it should process a huge number of operations for each byte of the file i want to compress.
About the torah.cod, you can download it here.
lol, about that print... it's just showing me the decimal ord() for knowing what is he "processing()"....
BTW,if process() returns the hash refarence, shouldn't it return the refarence to $data (the hash refarence {as an update}) ?

p.s.: the text.tmp is the any file i want to compress... it may be any file, but in mine i just wrote 'Hello', and stored it... :)
