This poem doesn't stand as an exemplary Perl poem, but since it came upon me while debugging, and does speak of code somewhat, perhaps you will not look too unkindly upon its being posted here...

while learning to debug some privileged text a gap forms between the back, right furls of my brain and the inner side of my skull after reading another sentence or two of the tutorial i notice it felt looked i felt light, a bursting light very pure and with a striking joy protruding it's faded already it had faded already perhaps that gap was pushed open by a memory f a d ing sing ing of glory past soon i will grasp that rapture
