For my favourite background noise:

  10. Rammstein: Sonne
I have to admit though, I normally put my entire multimedia disk on shuffle. So everything from Iron fist to Puff the magic dragon passes the revue.
Perlized songs? Hmmm..

That's never going to work...
Andromeda (ascendant, you know, with captain Hercules) running in the background seems to work well too...
