I have occasionally idly wondered myself what the algorithm is for the Other Users list is and for that matter how PM decides when you last visit here was.

Case in point was one time I used up all my votes and for three days I didn't get replenishment. When I asked the gods why I was told that the Vote Fairy doesn't like folks that don't visit often enough.

I found that to be a fairly curious answer given that I had not only voted on nodes, but had posted replies as well.

I do, however, know that if you speak in the CB or hit the decloak button your last visit marker will get updated.
