# You say:
muuttujan arvo on value. 
# which in my opinion means more like:
$muuttuja eq value;

# I would change that to
muuttujaan value. 
# Meaning: value to muuttuja.

# Or maybe
muuttujan arvoksi value. 
# Meaning: value to muuttuja's value.

# Or more verbal:
aseta muuttujan arvoksi value.
