yea it gave me a permission deny...but the file is on my comp n i got admin permission

Since you have admin permissions on your "comp", I'm concluding you're on a Windows machine. Presuming this is the case, you probably have complete permissions on the containing directory, so the denial of permission is probably because if the file is open, Windows will generally not permit it to be deleted. Explicitly close the file, and see if it can be deleted in that case. Also, make sure that the same file is being opened and unlinked; you may (probably will) have to use file's path, not just its name.
