Maybe I'm too close to the Perl 6 development, maybe I'm too close to the company itself. But considering Flávio is one of the main names in the Perl 6 development, I thought it was of public interest that Flávio is moving from Brazil to Portugal to work in an Open Source Company.

Anyways, as I already updated in the original post, not only he will have support from the company, as the continuation of his work is part of his assignments. Having Flávio working in his own projects, as you probably understand, is very much important for Vertical One, because, as the Perl Community as a whole, the company is very much interested in the results of this projects.
