i run the commands as 'utf-8' not as utf8 because i was gettign an error:
C:\Program Files\GnuWin32\bin>iconv -c -f utf8 -t windows-1253 < probl +em.txt > p roblem-1253.txt iconv: conversion from utf8 unsupported
