I cannot help you further. Try your luck with iconv online or find someone to run iconv on behalf of you. Chat someone up on Freenode or your local LUG.

Any 5.8 perl should come with the piconv Perl implementation of iconv. That may help...

(BTW: Instead of hardcoding links like <a href="http://www.iconv.com/iconv.htm">iconv online</a> you can use the Monastery's shortcuts as in [http://www.iconv.com/iconv.htm|iconv online].)
