I have a web app that runs automated tests written in java. I run the commands using something like:
open(JAVA, "cmd_to_execute_java |") or die ...; while(<JAVA>){ # process stuff as it comes through and print to browser }
This was ok because previously, none of the java cases ran for very long, and it printed to the browser just fine. Now some of our cases run for a couple hours, and nothing is output until the test is complete.

Everything I've found for running a non-blocking command applies to Unix/Linux systems. My server, however, is running on Win32.

How can I get the STDOUT and STDERR from that pipe without waiting for it to complete on a Win32 System?
