The script is on my laptop hard drive, and not on the universities machines, what is extremely frustrating is when I was at home on an adsl line the script ran just fine, and a few hours later at the university wireless network, nothing happens, I notice simple scripts like printing out variables work fine, but anything that requires using the net, or an internet related module, does nothing, even installing ppm packages I have a uni log in and password, and needed it to access the net via it's wireless network (which I am on right now) I am not sure if my MAC address is registered, or if it is auto registered after setting the laptop for wireless access, typing ipconfig/all on a dos window shows this:

I am on windows xp sp2, I don't know if the sun secure global desktop is what I need, all I know is on an adsl line at home, same perl scripts work fine, but here on a university wireless network, they don't work, trying to find out how I can get them to work.
