I'd like to know how to transform an array into a datastructure, like: 
my @pathparts = split(/\//, "/dir1/dir2/dir3/file1"); 
my %hash;

@pathparts should be transformed into 
$hash{"dir1"}{"dir2"}{"dir3"}{"file1"}
