Hello fellow monks. I've been asked to look at builing a platform to dial out and collect info from some remote boxes we look after via normal telephone lines. What I'm thinking of doing is have Perl control a number of outgoing calls via a Cisco access server to the devices, but I'm looking for a bit of information to get me started. Can anyone point in the right direction for anything similar that's already been developed? Anything dealing with handling modems or modem pools would be highly useful. kind regards Steve
