It would be nice if people stopped talking positively about Java and Net and started talking about parrot.

On the other hand, opening the conversation by accusing the LWP people of being backwards-looking and characterizing both the Java and the .NET platform as soon to be made irrelevant by Web 3.0 technologies is probably not the best way to get their attention in a favourable kind of way.
