Do you read your bible literally? 99% is interpretive data. You know, I know and everyone knows, it means a high percentage - and it IS the fact. The last bit of shit any one wants to make up is "perl is still beloved", maybe within a very small circle. The only reason that there are still perl scripts running is because of that CGI boom. If you don't want be realistic with yourself, that's your freedom, but don't come online and bullshit innocent people, those who are trying to learn one language. Guide them to the right direction, and that's the least you can do.
