Yes its not correct, i deliberately placed the code there this way for now until i figure out how to really test for a *Backwards Directory Traversal*

Can you help with a regex?

Ah, now i understood what the problem is, i was telling the script that if the parameter didnt contained a null strign then cosider its the other error without really checking if it is. So, i have to write it like this somehow:

if( param('select') =~ /\0/ ) { $passage = "*Null Byte Injection* attempted & logged!"; print br() x 2, h1( {class=>'big'}, $passage ); } if( param('select') =~ /\./ ) { $passage = "*Backwards Directory Traversal* attempted & logge +d!"; print br() x 2, h1( {class=>'big'}, $passage ); }
The 2nd if is wrong though cause it doesnt check the parameter for backslashes or dots.

Can you help me write it properly?
