Dear Monks,

Regarding the following code:

while (@regions_A = $sth_atl->fetchrow_array) { push (@regions_A_array, @regions_A); }
I wish to check that the array @regions_A_array does not contain any duplicates and if it does I wish to remove the duplicate. Is this effect best achieved within the while loop or outside the while loop? There may be more than one duplicate pushed into the array if the duplicate is not removed within the while loop.

Update : I've done some reading and found the following:
sub r{ keys%{{map{$_,1}@_}} }
However, I don't understand it or how to apply it.
