Enlightened ones,

I'm considering converting a couple of my programs over to using a CPAN module for doing shell-like programs. Problem is, there appear to be several decent choices, and I'm not sure which one to go with. I'm leaning towards Term::ShellUI. The other good contender is Term::Shell, probably enhanced by (naturally enough) Term::Shell::Enhanced. There's also Shell::Base, but it doesn't seem to offer much beyond the T::S + T::S::E combo, plus it hasn't been updated in a while (which is not necessarily bad, sure, but may as well go with something that still looks like it's being actively developed, all other things being equal).

Does anyone have experience with any of these, or (even better) more than one of them? I'd love to hear some opinions and/or comparisons.

I patiently await wisdom to be visited upon me.
