Other advantages are that it doesn't break when 

LOOP:

    last LOOP;
}

becomes 
LOOP:

    while ( condition ) {
        last LOOP;
    }
}

and does the right thing in 
THING:
for my $thing (@things) {
    redo THING;
}

[download]
