export() and import() in DBM::Deep 0.983 don't quite work. The test script above does work correctly in 1.007 and I'm working with a couple developers who are much more expert than I am on Win32 to get a 1.008 out ASAP. We think we have a workaround, but it's so deep in the guts that it just takes a little time to properly vet it.
My criteria for good software:
  1. Does it work?
  2. Can someone else come in, make a change, and be reasonably certain no bugs were introduced?
